http://www.tc.umn.edu/~hause011/NF/ (Ayd Mill Rd info) Hi Neighbor, >> We are going to survey the many St. Paul Mayor candidates on Neighborhood issues especially Ayd Mill Road. Please send in questions for the survey so we can make sure we ask what is needed. The survey should help show who are candidates that support neighborhood issues. We did the same for the 4th District Congress race and the survey was useful. >> The Ayd Mill Freeway seems stalemated at this time. The Metro Council downgraded it from Primary Arterial (freeway) to an Arterial Augmenter (less chance of funding.) Of course, one request by the City and it is back to Freeway status and rises from the dead as it has many times for the last 50 years... To keep moving forward we should be asking for pedestrian and bike access to the Ayd Mill corridor to get the land back for neighborhood use. Pedestrians and bikes are now banned from use of the corridor. >> Keep contacting officials about Ayd Mill Road, send me responses, I post them at: http://www.tc.umn.edu/~hause011/NF/ ST PAUL: Address letters to: Your Council Member City Hall, Room#: (see below) St. Paul, MN 55102 Ward 1: Jerry Blakey 651-266-8610, Room 310C jerry.blakey@ci.stpaul.mn.us Ward 2: Chris Coleman 651-266-8620, Room 310B chris.coleman@ci.stpaul.mn.us Ward 3: Pat Harris 651-266-8630, Room 310C pat.harris@ci.stpaul.mn.us Ward 4: Jay Benanav 651-266-8640, Room 310D jay.benanav@ci.stpaul.mn.us Ward 5: Jim Reiter 651-266-8650, Room 320A jim.reiter@ci.stpaul.mn.us Ward 6: Dan Bostrom, President 651-266-8660, Room 320B dan.bostrom@ci.stpaul.mn.us Ward 7: Kathy Lantry 651-266-8670, Room 320C kathy.lantry@ci.stpaul.mn.us Saint Paul City website: http://www.stpaul.gov/council/ City Council Fax #: 651-266-8574 To unsubscribe from the Neighborhoods First! list please email a reply with the word unsubscribe in the subject.
